The Velvet Market takes place every Saturday from 10am to 4pm and Sunday from 11am to 3pm unless otherwise noted.

We are located in the Plaza of The Velvet Mill.

The Velvet Market is a makers market with an application and screening process. All vendors must receive a notice of acceptance from The Velvet Market. We accept applications from crafters, makers, curators of vintage and antique goods, chefs, prepared food vendors, entertainers, authors, and artists of all types. Please contact us if you are an existing business or boutique that would like to host a pop up, informational booth or special event at the market. We look forward to working with you!

We do not accept vendors from multi-level marketing groups, wireless carriers, close outs, wholesale, or the sale of live animals.

Just fill out the application to the best of your ability. Use the comments or notes section at the bottom of the application form for questions and comments regarding your application and we will get back to you with help as soon as we can. Don’t worry, this is an easy process!

Each vendor space is approximately 8 feet x 6 feet. Please contact The Velvet Market management if your booth requires additional square footage or if you require multiple spaces. You will need to bring your own table(s) and seating. Large dollies are on-site to facilitate loading and unloading. A loading dock with a ramp that leads directly to The Plaza where the market is held will be available for your use before and after the market.

Please be prepared to pack and take away all valuables with you in the evening when you depart. We typically make an exception for folding tables and chairs if space allows and there are no conflicting events that need the space in the evening. We are not responsible for items you leave behind. We do have limited overnight storage space for participants who have paid for a full weekend vendor pass.

Vendor fees are for the day/weekend and for space only. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, and point of sale equipment. Vendors must do their own setup & breakdown. Free WiFi is available for vendors to use. Electricity is available in most areas. Vendors should bring their own power strips and extension cords. Please contact us before the market if your booth requires specific electrical resources.

Saturday Single Day Pass – $35.00
Sunday Single Day Pass – $15.00

Spaces are first come first serve within the designated market space. A team member will be onsite to direct you to available spaces. You are not allowed to set your booth up in other rooms or hallways of the mill unless you have been specifically instructed to by The Velvet Market management.
There are no refunds for cancellations. Special considerations may apply for severe weather conditions at management’s discretion. Leaving the market early or leaving your booth unattended for long durations is highly discouraged. Paid market dates may be rescheduled for a future date for a $10 rescheduling fee only within 10 days notice. A complete list of vendor rules and a code of conduct will be given to applicants once the application process is completed.

The Velvet Market requires all vendors of food and body products to carry product liability insurance. A Certificate of Insurance naming Velvet Mill Equities LLC as additional insured must be provided. Please be prepared to show all required certificates.

We will provide you with graphic assets, marketing materials, hashtags, social media links, and information to help promote your appearance at The Velvet Market upon your request. Your social media posts may be shared via social media and marketing materials produced by The Velvet Market when appropriate and relevant.

The Velvet Market is a brand new weekend marketplace located in the Plaza of The Velvet Mill and is not associated or affiliated with previous markets or their management. All potential participants must go through the application process to be considered for placement in The Velvet Market. Walk-in vendors are not permitted.
